Welcome to the Information Network of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work This unique online network of more than 30 occupational safety and health (OSH) websites is the fast and effective way to get up-to-date and quality-assured information on safety and health issues from around the world. It provides instant access to an ever-growing fund of information on key issues such as legislation and regulation, good safety and health practice, research, statistics and publications.

By clicking on the pull-down ‘network’ menu on the top right of the page you can cross-reference key information in any of the network’s partner countries or organisations. Language buttons indicate in which language(s) the information is available while the ‘translation help’ button will take you to online translation services.

Your gateway to a safer and healthier working environment

Creating a safer and healthier working environment in Europe lies beyond the resources and expertise of a single country or institution. That's why the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work was set up by the European Union: to bring together and share the region's vast reservoir of knowledge and information on OSH-related issues and preventive measures.

Since its start-up in 1997, the Agency's information network has grown to include not only 15 EU Member States, but also the EU candidate countries and the four EFTA countries. At the same time international organisations including the International Labour Organisation and the World Health Organization, as well as leading OSH organisations in the USA, Canada and Australia have joined the network, and together we have created a global information portal.
